Mr. Allen Jacobi, an Entertainment Lawyer has earned records of gold and platinum for his clients such as the Eric Clapton Band, Trick Daddy, Inner Circle, as well as The Miami Sound Machine. His name gained international recognition after his successful defense of 2 Live Crew against obscenity accusations.

At the beginning of his career, Mr. Allen Jacobi was a singer-songwriter. Mr. Allen Jacobi represented pioneers of the Miami Sound, including Betty Wright, Timmy Thomas, Peter Brown, and KC & the Sunshine Band.

Being close to the Caribbean made it possible for him to join forces with legends such as Jimmy Cliff, Third World, Yellowman, Dennis Brown as well as The Bob Marley Foundation.

The musician also played with jazz legends including Lionel Hampton (Grammy-nominated album Sentimental Journey), Jaco Pastorius, Ahmad Jamal ( Digital Works) as well as the Jimmy Dorsey orchestra.

In the past, he worked with Cameo, Firefall, Dave Mason, Jon Secada, Michael Winslow, Phillip Michael Thomas, Gabrielle Anwar, as well as Ocean Drive Magazine.

Producers Ron and Howard Albert, associated with Crosby, Stills & Nash, Eric Clapton, and Eric Clapton, and the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton, have collaborated with Jacobi. He also represented the famous art artist Peter Max.

Mr. Allen Jacobi co-founded Atlantic Distributed Radio Records and was the producer of the Billboard top-charting single “Stars on 45” (Gold). The passion for music was the driving force behind his participation in promotions, marketing A&R, sales, and marketing.

 

In 1990, he was offered an offer to create the label of his choice. In the year following, the Pyramid Records/Sony label was born. Jacobi’s initial signing as a head of the label included Eagles guitar player Joe Walsh, who released the album Ordinary Average Guy. The album’s title track quickly claimed the top spot in the Rock Radio chart.

 

Pyramid Records also worked with international stars such as Asia, Earth, Wind & Fire, Robert Palmer, Stray Cats, The Doobie Brothers, Public Enemy, Lalah Hathaway (#1 single “Forever, For Always, For Love”), Edgar Winter, Stephen Stills as well as many more. The band’s Earthrise album featured legends such as U2, Paul McCartney, Elton John, and Sting.

 

As of 2005, Pyramid released Man Alive! Stephen Stills’s first studio album as a solo artist in fourteen years. Stills is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee.

 

Jacobi continues to sign young talents to major labels, such as San Francisco rock band Finish Ticket (Atlantic), Miami R&B duo MMC da Click (Atlantic), and singer Prospectt (Cash Cash).

 

His expertise has increased to handle the acquisition and distribution of digital rights to clients from China, Israel, France, Indonesia, and the U.S. Particularly the Spotlite mobile app that was released in 2017, is one of the top ten apps for music in iTunes as well as Google Play.

 

His many clients include Digitrax (Country’s biggest Karaoke production company), Promo Only, Core DJ’s Israeli tech company YouTab, Night Flight Network (a famous music television show) as well as electronics giant Brother International.
